*To view the smart lock's logs remotely and receive abnormal alerts, call notifications, low battery reminders and so on, ensure the lock is connected to Wi-Fi or that your phone maintains a Bluetooth connection.
*The smart lock's fingerprint recognition supports users aged 7 to 70, covering most people. However, some elderly or young children may experience low recognition rates or failed scans due to underdeveloped or worn fingerprints — a common issue with fingerprint technology.
*The smart lock's fingerprint recognition rate of 99.3% was tested at room temperature (around 26°C) using an in-house algorithm with a database of 1,000 fingerprints, each collected 20 times, totaling 20,000 genuine match attempts. The false rejection rate was 0.7%.
*The 48-hour salt spray test was conducted in a salt solution concentration of (5±0.1)%, at a temperature of (35±2)℃. The spraying cycle was 15 minutes every 45 minutes, with a salt spray deposition rate of 1.0mL/(h·80cm²) to 2.0mL/(h·80cm²). After 96 hours of continuous testing, the smart lock still functioned normally, and the keypad surface showed no signs of rust.
*Anti-tamper, anti-pry protection: When the Xiaomi Self-Install Smart Lock keypad is pried up, it will emit a warning sound and send an instant alert notification.
*Auto-lock requires the use of a door sensor. Without the door sensor, only scheduled auto-lock is available.
*The lock has passed 100,000 open-and-close cycle tests, simulated mechanically to replicate manual use. Data comes from Lingdu Laboratory.
*Voice unlock requires pairing with a third-party smart speaker that supports Matter. For an optimal user experience, it is recommended to use devices bound through Mi Home.
*The lock is not waterproof. Please use in a dry environment.
*When hanging or sticking the product, ensure you press and hold for approximately 60 seconds to ensure proper adhesion.
*After adhesive installation, to avoid damage to the product or wall surface, do not forcibly remove the product. If removal is necessary, it is recommended to soften the adhesive by heating it with a hairdryer first before carefully peeling it off.
*The operating temperature range of this product is -10°C to 55°C. Using it outside this range may damage the device.
*The operating humidity range of this product is 0% RH to 93% RH. Please avoid using it in high-humidity or harsh environments.
